Inspired by spectrum waveforms. Aerodynamics sculpted with clarity.

Spectrum AS1 draws its core idea from the spectrum of light. The body surfaces are composed as flowing, wave like ribbons smooth, continuous curves that echo the undulating geometry found in light waves. This “spectrum line ” becomes the car’s primary character gesture, guiding proportions, sections, and reflections along the body.

“AS” represents Arman Sidik, the designer; “1” marks his first fully realized vehicle concept. The name celebrates a personal starting point and the intent to establish a clear, distinctive design language

Name & Meaning

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

The spectrum metaphor is not about literal speed; it’s about continuity, clarity, and controlled energy. AS1 pursues clean airflow, stable stance, and coherent surfacing, prioritizing high-speed stability and predictable handling. Taut shoulder lines, controlled overhangs, and a planted wheelbase create a dynamic silhouette without visual noise.

Proportions & Surfacing

Silhouette: a long, flowing S-curve defines the profile; volumes are tightened around the wheels to emphasize stance.
Surfaces: smooth, low-turbulence transitions reduce visual drag and help the car read as one continuous form.
Details: intersections are simplified; shut lines and feature lines are aligned to the spectrum gesture for visual harmony.

The Spectrum AS1 balances compact exterior dimensions with an efficient cabin not too small, not too large to move confidently through dense urban traffic while maintaining comfortable interior space.

Light & Visibility

A panoramic glass roof brings daylight deep into the cabin, creating an open, calming environment that helps reduce driving fatigue. The lighting signature front and rear abstracts the spectrum idea into precise, modern graphics.

Side doors are minimalist and flush to the body, reinforcing cleanliness of form. The rear composition is modern, dynamic, and energetic; the tail-lamp graphic follows the cabin’s sweep, delivering a futuristic yet purposeful impression.
